DAY OF EVENT IS BEING REPROGRAMMED - PLEASE, WAIT FOR ANNOUNCEMENT

The overall objective of the IT&T Conference is to explore, in a regular annual meeting of sector executives and specialists, the global and regional trends on telecommunications and information technologies. IT&T are evolving at an extraordinary pace and technological convergence. There is also a general consensus, and the empirical evidence, pointing to innovations in and intelligent use of IT&T, as determinants in the economic and social development of countries. What is sought in the IT&T Conference from major actors and specialists is their strategic vision of what is happening in the sector and its future prospects.

For the 2013 IT&T Conference we have forseen eight presentations to be given by invited national and international keynote speakers, who will raise the most important points to discuss in the different sessions. The remaining presentations will be given by authors of registered papers submitted to the conference.

It is also planned to have two side events at the Conference: (I) An Exhibitors Room, at which IT&T companies can display and present their products or services to the conferees; and (II) a Special Session for “Mobile Application Developers”. The exhibition room will be open during the three days of conference activities. The Special Session will be held the day after the two-day papers presentations sessions. A Technical Committee will select the 10 best applications to be presented at the special meeting.
